GEORGE NEWS - Military veterans from Moth Shellholes are said to share a degree of "unique DNA". This DNA is vested in true comradeship, mutual help and sound memory.
To celebrate this, military veterans will be gathering in the Garden Route district on 9 October for a special event hosted in George.
The event will focus on sincerity and humour and will be celebrated as a colourful traditional potjiekos festival. Sixteen military units, each with its unique background, will be represented.
The event will be hosted at the George Moth Shellhole, Rijk Tulbagh Street, from 11:00 onwards. Dish-up is at 17:00.
To enjoy a potjiekos meal will cost R70.
Attendees are requested to bring camping chairs, cutlery, friends and family.
A cash bar will be available.
