GEORGE NEWS - A man from George (47) who is facing charges of sexual grooming of a child and soliciting or enticing of immoral acts, appeared in the George Magistrate's Court on Friday 10 September.
He was arrested the previous day.
It is alleged that the suspect approached a boy (14) in George during February this year and made suggestions of a sexual nature to the victim.
"Similar allegations involving three other victims aged 18 and 19 surfaced during July. He was therefore arrested on four cases," said Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies.
The George FCS unit is probing these matters.
The suspect was released on bail and warned to return to court on 11 October. The case was postponed for further investigation.
