GEORGE NEWS - On 25 July 1999, Pastors Gavin and Welda Biegnaar planted the George Community Church in the heart of the Garden Route.

According to Pastor Gavin Biegnaar, the church grew phenomenally. Since 2007 sister churches were established through the Southern Cape and since 2010 a number of churches as far as Cape Town were started.

The church building project in George started in 2011. The 1 100-seat facility was officially opened and dedicated in July 2016. In 2017 an umbrella body,

Community Family of Churches (CFC), was called into existence by the Pastors Biegnaar. To date 20 churches have been registered under this umbrella body.
