GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The Christian-based NPO Life Community Services here in George has been around for almost 18 years.
Maryna de Vries, the CEO and co-founder, started the business with her husband as they saw a need to make a difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.
This morning they had a thank-you tea for some of their donors and supporters. De Vries said they are blessed to have the support of so many wonderful people, without whose help and generous giving nothing would be possible.
Life runs a number of projects, including the Happy Feet Crèche and Isipho, a job creation project.
