GEORGE NEWS - These two amazing ladies, Betty Shipton (RLR) and Joan Tilson, knitted a total of 115 octopuses for the "Octopus for Preemie Project".
Premature babies find comfort from the octopuses as the tentacles feel like umbilical cords.
The octopuses also reduce the risk of the little ones grabbing or getting snagged in medical equipment, which could cause harm.
The special wool was kindly donated by the Lions Club.
