GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Go George manager, James Robb, confirmed that the bus drivers of George Link, the vehicle operating company of Go George, are still on strike.
He says the management of George Link is still in the process of engaging with the drivers: "At this stage, there will be no bus service until further notice."
He added that Go George sincerely apologises for the interruption.
George Herald journalist Eugene Gunning earlier today reported that drivers and other personnel of Go George were at the depot in York Street. Some of the personnel told George Herald that they are not unwilling to work, but they feel their lives are at risk. They feel that all staff should be tested for Covid-19 as it is not only their lives that are at risk, but also that of their families and the public.
