GEORGE NEWS - As from today, the new GO GEORGE public transport system is operational on 4 routes.
The main point of transfer is the hub in Cradock Street.
The first 4 routes are:
* Loerie Park to the CBD;
* Rosemoor to the Garden Route Mall;
* Dennoord to the CBD;
* CBD to Wilderness (initially only as far as the Garden Route Mall).
Passengers can make use of free transfers between buses within one hour of ticket purchase.

The fare for any trip within a 15km radius will be R8,50.
Tickets will only be sold on the buses and and passengers are requested to have the correct change or as close to the correct amount, as possible.
The bus service will operate 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Buses will run from around 06:00 to between 23:00 and midnight.
