GEORGE NEWS - A 14-year old girl was rushed to hospital after she was resuscitated at Herold's Bay beach earlier today, Wednesday 3 February.

It is alleged that she somehow got into trouble in the surf while swimming.

The circumstances that lead to the incident is unclear at this stage.

After she was resuscitated, the girl was taken to hospital by ER24 paramedics. 

She is believed to be in a stable condition currently, but the exact extent of her injuries are unknown.
