GEORGE NEWS - George parkrun, along with many other South African parkruns, has lost its Facebook Page.
According to Wayne Ryder of George parkrun this means that their weekly set of photos posted after an event will not be published until the matter has been cleared.
In addition, the George parkrun course has been altered from Saturday 13 May, since the Garden Route Botanical Gardens will be doing repairs to the wall around the dam.
“However, the start position will remain the same,” said Ryder. “Please check out the map on George Herald’s Facebook Page showing the new altered course which will remain in place for about six months.”
