GEORGE NEWS - Due to a change in service provider, the George Municipality no longer has access to its old website address (www.george.ORG.za), which in the past automatically forwarded to the new address (www.george.GOV.za).
When searching on the internet for the George Municipality, both addresses are currently made available for click-through, but only one (www.george.GOV.za) will take you to the correct place. The municipality is trying to address this with the search engine, but it is not within the municipality’s control.
