GEORGE NEWS - All libraries reopened on Monday 20 September for full library services, including continued assistance with registration for vaccines on the EVDS system. This follows after lockdown regulations were amended to alert level 2.
Library Services manager Rachel Williams said public libraries may reopen with full services to the public, keeping the mandatory protocols in place including social distancing, wearing of masks, sanitising and with no more than 50% of the floor space being used.
"We cannot wait to see all of our usual library patrons more regularly again. We only ask that you remain considerate of your fellow library users and our library staff by adhering to the required protocols," she said.
The public is asked to please return library books.
