GEORGE NEWS - The George Camera Club caters for beginner photographers up to Master Photographers.
They meet at the George Museum every first and third Tuesday evening at 08:30 for 19:00.
On the first Tuesday evening of the month, senior photographers showcase their work, discuss it and explain settings and post-processing. They also receive comments from the floor.
On the third Tuesday, more formal judging and clear comments and guidelines are done of juniors' images.

- Junior Open - Arthur Morgan with Portrait in the rain
- Junior Nature - Lorraine Blackwell with Climb every mountain
- Theme - Lorraine Blackwell with Down with the King
- Senior Open - Joggie van Staden with Tant Anna van die Klein-Karoo
- Senior Nature - Joggie van Staden with Mr Green
