The annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award was collected on the weekend by Brenda Moses, airport manager. She was welcomed by an enthusiastic team of stakeholders when she arrived back from New Delhi in India via Cape Town at the George Airport on Sunday afternoon.
When the international award was announced she told the George Herald: "I am ecstatic with the news of our third win in a row for quality service".
"Every stakeholder at George Airport contributed towards achieving this award," she said.
The pride of all the stakeholders was borne out by the various people on hand to welcome her back.
The international airport autho-rity sees the ASQ awards as an important tool to help improve performance in a measurable manner.
The awards were based on more than 300 000 passenger surveys completed at participating ASQ airports in 2010.
