GEORGE NEWS - A momentous event is coming to Life Community Services (LCS) in George on Friday 5 November. 

A gala celebration will be held to commemorate LCS, which has been touching the lives and mending the hearts of thousands of indigent children for 20 years.

The theme of this special occasion is 'Changing our world, one child at a time', and for several months now a dynamic committee has been organising a very special evening for all who will attend.

Special musical presentations will be among the highlights at this black-tie evening where a delicious three-course meal will be served and one of South Africa's prominent business leaders will be speaking.

A live auction will be part of the evening where some amazing items will be auctioned off. To top it off, a brand-new documentary on LCS will be presented for the very first time by a well-known filmmaker.

"Most of all, it will be an exercise in glorifying the Lord Jesus for His faithfulness over all these years and honouring Him for the awesome work He has done in thousands of children's lives," says CEO Maryna de Vries.
