GEORGE NEWS - A fisherman was washed into the sea after being swept from the rocks at Voëlklip, near Herold’s Bay, earlier this afternoon.
According to Police Spokesperson Sergeant Christopher Spies, emergency services were dispatched to Herold's Bay just after 14:00 today, Friday 17 June.
“A search and rescue operation is currently underway. The identity of the missing man is yet to be confirmed,” said Spies.
