HESSEQUA NEWS - Status quo remains on all fire lines. Wind strength and directions change constantly with several flare-ups as a result of the wind.
The only active flames are on a small hill next to the N2, but at this stage it's posing no threat to any property.
Mopping-up operations will continue with teams on high alert for the predicted strong north-westerly winds.
Earlier the wildfires on Mr Miller Horn's farm took a heavy toll, killing 33 livestock and leaving 15 cattle with burn wounds.
