GEORGE NEWS - Entries have opened for the 2022 Garden Route Eisteddfod which will take place during August at various venues in George.

According to one of the organisers, Lizette Gerber, schools will be entering their learners again this year under each school's banner, but learners and people of any age are welcome to enter individually too.

The different divisions are: Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Visual Arts.

The entry fee is between R55 and R85, depending on the entry.

Entries close on 30 June.
