GEORGE NEWS - Members and supporters of the Garden Route SPCA had a blast with their Christmas in July celebrations at the St Augustine's Hall last Saturday morning, 29 July.
Glühwein, live entertainment and a merry spirit were shared among the guests and hostesses, who dressed to the occasion.
"We received many requests to organise a second event after last year's success," said organiser Deborah Patrick.
This lovely fundraiser was supported by Margot Swiss and Van Rensburgs Foods, Pet and Pool, 101 Meade Street and Bayleaf. Lucky draw prizes included vouchers from Yolk Print Shop, TYL Creative Glass and a metal tape picture from Oarsum Crafts.
The main prize was a night for two at Dune Villa in Wilderness, including breakfast, donated by Ken Patrick at Decks Etc.
"This was truly a group effort, I had so much help from my friends and family who support us," said Patrick.
