GEORGE NEWS - South Africa's current Dulux dogs, Jade (2), Orion (5) and Yola (10) will be visiting George this coming Sunday, 2 April.
The three canine celebs are not only well known for their roles in the Dulux advertisements on TV, but also for their work as the Joy dogs.
The name Joy derived from the first letter of each their names.
The trio regularly visit homes for the elderly, schools, shopping centres and community events to bring a little colour and cheer to the world.
"Their main job is working for Dulux, which we do most weekends around the country. This will be our first time in George," said their owner and trainer, Sue Green.
These talented Old English Sheepdogs have many tricks up their fluffy sleeves. Not only can they "read" cue cards, they can also bark their age and do tricks on paint tins - to mention a few.
"They also learnt to skateboard during lockdown," says Green.
Green and her dogs will be at Builders Warehouse from 10:00 to 13:00.
Dulux has used an Old English Sheepdog as the brand mascot for Dulux paint since 1961.
Pop by Builders Warehouse in the Eden Meander on Sunday 2 April to see the Dulux dogs in action.
