GEORGE NEWS - The man who drowned on Thursday last week when he fell into the sea at Gwaing River Mouth, was the 57-year-old Edwin William Trantraal from Pacaltsdorp.
Trantraal slipped on the rocks while fishing with a friend.
His body was recovered by an EMS helicopter on Friday morning after it was seen floating in the sea by firemen.
Divers then freed his body that was caught up in ropes and nets close to the coast.
