GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - The Climate Change and Environmental Management Indaba at Nelson Mandela University George Campus has started with a talk by design thinking specialist Dr Roy Marcus.
Marcus said there is a glimmer of hope for a second democratic wave in South Africa because of new, young and dynamic people in the political arena coming to the fore.
However, South Africans cannot leave it to the politicians to create changes that will take the country back from the edge of chaos - positive action by all communities on the ground is essential.
The indaba is being hosted by the Garden Route Environmental Forum. Various speakers are on the programme, which concludes at 16:00.
