GEORGE NEWS - An undisclosed amount of money was stolen during a break-in at MultiSave Supermarket in Denneoord last night.
The suspects entered the building through the roof and deactivated the alarm system.
They then proceeded to grind open the ATM and emptied the shop's safe.
The owner realised they had been robbed after he opened the shop this morning, Monday 28 May, at approximately 06:45.
No arrests have been made.
Police are still on the scene.
