GEORGE NEWS - An accident in Beach Road, Pacaltsdorp at around 01:50 this morning, left two people with serious injuries.
Southern Cape police spokesperson, sergeant Chris Spies says Pacaltsdorp detectives are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving.
He said information at this stage indicates that two vehicles, a silver Opel Astra and a white Volkswagen Golf, collided after one of these vehicles hit a blue Volkswagen Polo that was parked on the side of the road.
“The driver and passenger of the Opel Astra sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital by ambulance.” There is currently no reports of other injuries, was said.
When police and emergency workers arrived on the scene, no occupants of the white Golf could be found. No one on the scene came forward as the driver.
No arrests have been made and the investigation into this matter continues.
