GEORGE NEWS - Members of the Denneoord Neighbourhood Watch spent Saturday 20 May cleaning up the green belt below Môreson ACVV Child and Youth Care Centre in Charlotte Street.
The aim was to clean up the river and surrounding bush area.
According to a spokesperson for the organisation, Louis Keyter, they managed to fill a 3-ton truck, sponsored by The Branch Manager, with bags full of rubbish.
"We were also joined by residents of the neighbourhood who gave there time to clean up Denneoord," said Keyter.
