GEORGE NEWS - Thanks to the wonderful support of the George Community, 9 000 items of clothing have already been donated for the '10 000 Wishes' charity clothing drive.
Which means we still need 1 000 items to complete the wish list!
The clothing drive, an initiative by Werner Fourie Optometrists, in conjunction with the George Herald, aims to collect 10 000 items of clothing for five local charities by the end of November.
The charities that will benefit from this drive include Life Community Services, Bethesda Child and Youth Care Centre, the Haven Night Shelter, Solidariteit Helpend Hand and Options Care Centre.
You can donate clothes by dropping them off at Werner Fourie Optometrists in Courtenay Street or at the George Herald's offices in Ring Road or York Street.
Contact Werner Fourie on 044 873 4888 for more information.
