GEORGE NEWS - A 27-year-old woman was arrested in Thembalethu following the murder of Siyanda Booysen (21) on Saturday 28 September.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said information available at this stage indicates that there was an altercation between the couple which led to the murder.
"On arrival, the [police] members found the victim with a stab wound to his chest. Medical personnel declared him dead on the scene," Spies said.
The suspect was arrested on the scene and scheduled to make her first court appearance earlier this week.
The outcome of her appearance in court could not be confirmed at the time of going to print.
