GEORGE NEWS - Burglars made off with an estimated R300 000 worth of branded clothing items and jewellery during a burglary in Bergsig recently.
The incident took place while the owners were away for the weekend and their dogs were boarding elsewhere.
It is believed that an unconfirmed number of burglars ransacked the property, making off with a bounty of high-end items, including branded clothing, jewellery and a firearm.
Among the stolen items were a collection of leather jackets, notably a distinctive pink one, along with Fenn and Guess handbags, Froggie shoes, Michael Kors and Steve Madden handbags and footwear, as well as a selection of coveted Sissy Boy shoes.
A collection of expensive jewellery was also taken.
The possibility that a getaway vehicle was used is being investigated, but this could not be confirmed.
A substantial reward is offered to anyone with information regarding the incident or the stolen goods.
