GEORGE NEWS - Luvuyuo Dondashe (45), who was found guilty of the 2018 murder of the 51-year-old businessman, Theodore Roman (Boeta), in the Circuit High Court in George on Friday 13 September, will be sentenced this Friday 25 October.
After the incident at Boeta's Corner, Dondashe fled on foot with only a box of drinking glasses, which he might have mistaken for a box of money as Roman did not use bank bags but rather hid his business's money in boxes.
Roman and his shop assistant were on their way to deposit money when the incident occurred.
Dondashe, originally from the Eastern Cape, was on parole when he shot and killed Roman at his business in Nelson Mandela Boulevard on 22 January.
He was sentenced in 2005 after he was found guilty on a charge of robbery in Dispatch.
