GEORGE NEWS - Wilderness has given us cause to celebrate! The Wilderness Art Association (WAA) is delighted to stage an aesthetic, authentic collection of art from across South Africa together with a jam-packed programme full of fun and creative activities in celebration of 100 years of Wilderness.
From Thursday to Sunday, 7 to 10 October, art and fun lovers will have loads to do and see.
The launch evening on Thursday 9 October at Wilderness Hotel promises to be a memorable occasion, the theme being "100 Years of Wilderness - a celebration of the beautiful village with its rich history". Gold and black is the dress code and it starts at 17:30 for 18:00.
Venues
The main venues for the art exhibitions are the Wilderness Hotel, Palms Garden Square and Milkwood Village.
Other participating venues are Fairy Knowe Backpackers and Cornerstone Gallery.
Works will also be exhibi-ted at participating WAA art platforms, namely Cabesa Gallery, Peter Pharaoh Gallery, Salina's Restaurant, The Views Boutique Hotel and Spa, the Fairy Knowe Hotel and Hoeka Toeka Pub and Diner.
