BUSINESS NEWS - Wild Mongoo's third birthday was a vibrant mix of joy, community spirit and purpose.
Held at Wild Mongoo's home base on York Street on Friday 4 April, the celebration brought together about 300 supporters, partners and curious passers-by.
A community celebration with heart
The open house buzzed with activity as the guests took part in interactive games, shopped for new products and contributed heartfelt notes to the 'Wishes for the Future' wall.
Many left with prizes, coffee and a renewed sense of why Wild Mongoo matters.
A lucky winner
A raffle was held to win a getaway to the exclusive Garden Route Game Lodge. All 1 000 raffle tickets were sold, ensuring that Wild Mongoo smashed its goal of raising R10 000.
This is vital support for the organisation's mission to uplift vulnerable women through creativity, courage and community.
Honouring the Pink Army
The Wild Mongoo women, fondly referred to as the 'Pink Army', celebrated and reflected on their personal journeys and achievements.
Looking ahead
"Friday was about more than a birthday," said Lindsay Hogan, co-founder of Wild Mongoo. "It was a reminder of the strength and generosity of the people who believe in what we do. Every person who came through our doors played a part in something bigger."
Wild Mongoo extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated or simply stopped by to learn more. With a full heart, the team is looking forward to what the next chapter holds.
