Customers have been visiting Uniforms of George at the old premises in York Street since 1996. The owner, Síne Strydom said: "Due to expansion in the business we have moved to our new premises in Mitchell Street. Our large stockholding and wide variety ensures that our customers receive their goods immediately. After 17 years in the trade we have built up business relationships with the major sup-pliers. This stands us in good stead when we have to source that special something that our customers require from time to time."
Strydom maintains that "wearing high qua-lity, stylish uniforms and formal workwear creates the right impression for your business and this is portrayed in the dealings that your staff have with your customers. Uniforms of George will enhance your corporate image and ensure that the employees project pride, professionalism and confidence."
Over the years the business has concentrated on having the optimum product mix of clothing and protective wear that is required in the Southern Cape. "Our own product range, which we have developed through the years, is manufactured under our strict quality control. This range is proving to be popular due to the competitive pricing and styling."
Clients have built up a special relationship with our staff that have been with the company for many years. Strydom is proud of the fact that her business has a low staff turnover. "Juliana Faurie, the manager has been with Uniforms of George for 16 years and Percilla Bester, the bookkeeper 10 years."
