Maree has completed specialised training under a doctor of audiology in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) in London. This approach supports individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus by helping them recognise, challenge and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, enabling the brain to respond to sound in a calmer, healthier and more adaptive way.
Her clinical perspective was further shaped through three weeks of intensive training with a Kundalini yoga teacher in Ericeira, Portugal, which transformed her understanding of human behaviour, nervous system regulation, neuroplasticity and auditory reframing. Her time spent in the Mediterranean Blue Zones reinforced the importance of lifestyle and stress regulation in long-term well-being.
