On Thursday the hotel's birthday was celebrated to coincide with a well attended George Business Chamber's monthly networking meeting.
In between the networking, guests were in for an absolute treat when an array of delicacies was served on the terrace under a bright, starry sky.
The Business Chamber President, Dr Willie Cilliers, wished the General Manager, Deleur Stander, and the staff a happy birthday and announced a training session on performance management, which will take place on 15 May at the Protea King George Hotel at a cost of R300 per person.
Addressing the gathering, Stander hinted that a revamp would be taking place at the hotel. He also reminded guests of the sumptuous Sunday buffet and breakfast at the hotel.
