GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Mother and daughter, Riana Koen and Lianie McClaren from Serendipity Beauty Salon lost all their stock and equipment in the fire at Multi Centre in the central business district three weeks ago.
They have since then found a welcome refuge at Keren's Hair Studio at Shamrock Place where they are setting up their business again. They invite their clients to come and visit them at this new address.
"This is a whole new beginning for us. We are very happy with our new location and believe we can add value to the hair salon, while also having the advantage of being closer to potential new clients," says Riana, who is a distributor for Annique beauty products and Miglio Jewellery.
"There has been an association between us for a long time since Liz has been my hairdresser for the past 13 years," she says.
Serendipity has been in operation for the past eight years.
Keren Decastro, owner of Keren's Hair Studio, is elated to have the beauty salon on their premises. "Clients now have a one-stop shop where they can have their hair done and enjoy beauty treatments," she says.
Keren's Hair Studio has built up a sound reputation for their professional service with Great Lengths hair extensions. "Great Lengths is a genuine human hair product and I had proper training and years of experience. It is an expensive exercise and better to have done by a reputable salon."
She also ensures privacy for clients who come for hair extensions.
