GEORGE NEWS - Group Editors is looking for a dynamic, hardworking and organised Digital Campaign Manager to plan, coordinate, implement and oversee marketing & advertising campaigns for a range of products and services.

Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Google AdSense & AdWords training (a must)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English & Afrikaans
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Proficient on digital marketing platforms (Meta business, CRM systems, Google
- AdSense, AdWords etc)
- Strong project management, time-management and organisational skills
- Self-starter and positive attitude
- Creative & lateral thinker
- Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed
Duties and Responsibilities
- Study and understand all facets of the digital products and services being offered.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and execute digital strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the digital department remains innovative and competitive.
- Attend and actively contribute to regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and provide updates on digital initiatives.
- Offer support and assistance to fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment within the digital department.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of the entire team.
- Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration to ensure a cohesive approach to digital initiatives and projects.
- Receive orders and work with the digital, advertising, design, and content teams in the delivery of campaigns: Draw up briefs, manage schedules and communication, review completed tasks, traffic approval, and communicate changes to relevant teams.
- Identify Performance Optimization Opportunities: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and liaise with respective teams for implementation.
- Collaborate with the advertising sales team on sales proposals and pitches, giving insight into channel performance and creative concepts.
- Produce campaign performance reports that deliver insights and upsell opportunities.
- Manage the production of content marketing, advertorials, and sponsored content on the website: Brief in content writers, traffic sub-editing, traffic changes & approvals, etc.
- Upload commercial content to the Group Editors' websites; content marketing, advertorials, and sponsored content on the website.
- Upload commercial content to the Group Editors' Facebook Pages: Website link posts, static ads, video ads/reels.
- Upload commercial content to the Group Editors' Instagram Pages: Website link posts, static ads, video ads/reels.
- Upload commercial content to the Group Editors WhatsApp: Website link posts, static ads, video ads/reels.
- Upload commercial content to the Group Editors' TikTok Pages: Video ads/reels.
