BUSINESS NEWS - Get ready, George! From 18 to 20 September, the Glenwood House stage will burst into colour, energy and music as every Prep School child takes part in REWIND: Music Meets History in Every Move.
This mass-participation production promises to be a spectacular celebration of talent, teamwork and creativity.
The story begins in Granny and Grandpa’s retro lounge, where a group of children stumble upon old records and music players.
What follows is a whirlwind journey through the decades, with each class performing a dance inspired by an iconic musical era - from the swinging 60s right through to the sounds and styles of today.
Lively narrators (and one very special clock) guide the audience through history with humour, clever dialogue, and plenty of surprises along the way.
Audiences can look forward to unforgettable performances, cameo appearances, and a special spotlight on South African music.
With its blend of history, humour and foot-tapping dance numbers, REWIND is a show for the whole family to enjoy.
Performances take place from 18 to 20 September in the school auditorium, with shows starting at 18:00 every day, as well as a 14:00 matinee show on the Saturday. Tickets cost R80 and can be purchased at the door.
For more information or bookings, please contact the Glenwood House reception or follow the links on our social media.
Don’t miss this joyful journey through time - and the chance to see every Prep School child take the stage in a production that celebrates music, history, and the magic of coming together as a community.
