GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The George Strawberry Festival presented by Ola experienced a weekend of great excitement. A beautiful sunny Saturday of action-packed events included the Rugby, Francois Ferreira Strawberry Food Theatre, Crossfit, The Outeniqua Refrigeration Trail run, Strawberry eat offs, mascot parades, Miss Strawberry models, strawberry stomping and excellent music by local artists.

Those who braved the extreme weather on Sunday were treated to Lollos in the rain with intermittent eat offs and stomping. 

The local artists performed under testing conditions and amidst all this many were entertained.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, performers, visitors and stall holders for making it a memorable weekend.
