GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The well-known Doctor 4U is now in an even better position to help patients with their medical needs in George. They recently relocated from Doneraile Square to the corner of York Street and Gloucester Avenue, the site that used to be the Medical Centre Pharmacy.
Patients can now look forward to visiting the nurse and/or doctor in the heart of George, with convenient and affordable access to any healthcare needs guaranteed.
Doctor4U started from humble beginnings in early 2018 in George. It was born out of a passion to improve ordinary South Africans' lives by providing affordable, easily accessible and convenient patient-focused healthcare.
It has three practices - in Three Rivers, Vereeniging; President Hyper in Vanderbijlpark and in George.
Says Dr Marcelle Herbst, clinical head and one of the owners of Doctor 4U, about the new premises in George: "We specifically chose this site, because here we can provide an integrated, one-stop service to all the wonderful people of the Garden Route in the best location possible.
The Medical Centre Pharmacy used to be a landmark location in George, and we are so grateful to continue the legacy of this location. It is a mere stone's throw away from the new Dis-Chem in York Street. We are open for business on weekends and public holidays as well. We welcome our previous and new patients alike".

The owners and founders of Doctor 4U do not believe in hierarchical organisational structures but in flat-structured, self-managed and networked teams.
"Doctor 4U is an organisation where we live our values and commit to surpassing the expectations of our patients and colleagues," says Herbst.
"As medical doctor, I am convinced that our culture drives strategy execution. We measure everything we do; we are all professionals and we have our own unique brand within the embed of Doctor 4U. We are also breaking new ground with Nurse 4U and E-Doc 4U. This requires a new way of leading and managing, allowing people to carve out careers aligned to their own gifting, competencies and strengths according to the way they are bent.

The following services are currently provided at the new Doctor 4U Medical Centre:
* Doctor 4U - consultation by a medical doctor;
* Nurse 4U - consultation by a qualified nurse; and
* E-Doc 4U - using technology to be treated by an applicable and appropriately qualified healthcare professional. A Dentist 4U is in the pipeline.
