GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - As has been their habit, Kafe Serefé, one of George's favourite restaurants, will once again host some wonderful evenings to thank all their loyal patrons for their continued support.
The first of these evenings will be celebrated on 1 November with belly dancers and cabaret by Senior Miss Belly Dance SA 2019, Levona Bredenkamp and Elsa Bernardo, Serefé's resident belly dancer for the last 16 years.
The art of belly dancing, which originated in the East, has been celebrated at Kafe Serefé ever since the restaurant opened its doors.
"At Kafe Serefé we are privileged to bring the East to you to enhance your dining experience. It is also customary in the East, especially Turkey, to tip or reward the dancers for their performances. You are certainly most welcome to share in this tradition," says owner Carolien van Rensburg.
Because Serefé is essentially a fusion restaurant where East meets South Africa, the music and dance styles are a mixed variety combining music from Turkey and Egypt with oriental, modern Egyptian and folkloric dance styles.
Don't miss this evening of wine and whiskey tasting, lucky draws and performances. Make your reservation now!
At Kafe Serefé a satisfying eat-out experience is always guaranteed. It's a casual eatery where patrons can enjoy their food in a relaxed atmosphere and they return again and again.
The menu offers a variety of dishes starring carefully selected cuts of Van Rensburg's meat, catering for every taste.
Every Friday belly dancers entertain the patrons, adding to the Turkish ambience.
The restaurant is ideal for any function and can accommodate up to 70 people. Certain sections can be closed off for smaller functions.
