GEORGE NEWS – George Municipality has advised residents that today's scheduled refuse collection in parts of Pacaltsdorp, Groeneweide, Bos en Dal and George South has been delayed due to technical issues affecting the municipal refuse collection fleet.
Refuse collection crews are currently servicing the affected areas, and all scheduled collections will still be completed. However, residents can expect collections to take place later than usual.
Residents are requested to leave their refuse bins outside until they have been emptied.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and understanding while teams work to complete today's refuse collection programme.
