GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for Sanctuary Lane, Wilderness on Tuesday 27 January, from 10:00 to 16:00 for commissioning a newly constructed bulk water meter connection at Sanctuary LN, Wilderness, behind Spar.
Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration, as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period. Low water pressure may also be experienced during this period.
Services disruption:
During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas.
The municipality will make every effort to notify residents and businesses in advance of any scheduled interruptions via its official social media channels, website, and other communication platforms.
Additionally, road users and pedestrians in adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities.
Water outage period:
As part of the bulk water meter connection a scheduled water outage will take place to facilitate essential construction work.
