GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for a portion of George on Tuesday 12 November, from 19:00 to 04:00 on Wednesday 13 November, due to George Municipality connecting a new 160mm diameter waterline.
The following areas will be affected:
- 67 York Street (Millwood and Anfra Building)
- Portion of Victoria to Ivy Street and surroundings
Due to the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas.
Additionally, road users and pedestrians in York Street and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities.
Flag personnel will be available to direct when necessary.
