GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality would like to advise residents that municipal offices will be closed on Tuesday, 16 June, in observance of Youth Day.
Refuse collection services
Refuse collection services scheduled for 16 June will continue as normal. Refuse removal teams will be on duty, and households in areas that are scheduled for Tuesday, are requested to place refuse bags or bins out for collection by 07:00 on the day.
Municipal offices
All municipal administrative offices will be closed on Youth Day and will reopen on Wednesday, 17 June, during normal operating hours.
Emergency and essential services will remain operational throughout the public holiday.
