GEORGE NEWS - Due to the predicted hot weather conditions in George and surrounds today, Tuesday 29 July, the public is urged to exercise extreme caution when making fires or discarding cigarettes or matches.

No controlled burns are permitted under these conditions.

Please report any fires or emergency incidents immediately to the Fire Department:
