Update

GEORGE NEWS -  The latest water update, supplied by George Municipality on Monday 22 April:

  • Dam level: 100% 
  • Rainfall: 6mm (Measured rainfall figures from 15 April until 22 April 2024)

Special Council held on Friday 12 April resolved that, as of 1 May 2024, water restrictions in George will be eased from Level 2C to Level 2B. This means that emergency tariffs will no longer apply, and standard water tariffs will be charged.
