It is indeed welcome news that the George Airport will be improved. The number of passengers has ballooned in the past decade.
However, it is frustrating that the process will only commence in the future, considering that ACSA has enjoyed a huge increase in revenue, airport taxes, for some years.
Where are the benefits for passengers? The toilet seats remain broken, an indictment on maintenance management.
Furthermore, only one security entrance is utilized, resulting in long queues and bottlenecks. It is so obvious that it is run nationally and not provincially!
What are our taxes being used for?
