Vanjaar se Spur to Spur 10 km-aand-wedloop is gekenmerk deur hoë temperature selfs ná 18:00. Hierdie wedloop vind al vir etlike jare plaas en is slegs onderbreek gedurende die Covid-19-inperking. Die wedloop verlede Woensdag, 18 Januarie, het gestrek vanaf die Garden Route Mall se Timberwolf Spur tot by die Geronimo Spur in Yorkstraat. Volgens Duppie du Preez, organiseerder, het twee atlete weens 'n tekort aan suurstof in die hospitaal beland.
