Progress en Africa op die rugbyveld
Die verdedigende kampioen in die SWD Premierliga-rugbykompetisie, Progress, het Saterdagmiddag sy buurman, Crusaders, in 'n klipharde derby op die Rosemoor-sportterrein met 26-18 geklop. Rustyd was die wenspan met 14-8 voor. Die wedstryd het in 'n feestelike atmosfeer voor 4,000 toeskouers plaasgevind. Dit was Progress se sesde oorwinning in die kompetisie die seisoen.
