Dream victory in highly successful Masters Bowls Tournament
One of the highlights of the Eden Invitational Masters tournament at the George Bowling Club was the dream victory of Jemima Nortjé over the Protea player Elma Davis in the Ladies Open. The victory was also an unexpected birthday present for Nortjé, who had to fight very hard for her one point lead over the experienced Davis. Halfway through the game Davis was still comfortably in the lead, but Nortjé slowly caught up to win in fine style.
