Meer as 1 100 atlete het aan vanjaar se George Outeniqua-marathon deelgeneem. Dié wedloop, aangebied deur die Outeniqua Harriers-atletiekklub met die ondersteuning van die George-munisipaliteit, lok jaarliks talle atlete en word as een van dié mooiste wedlope in die land beskryf.
